What's it all about
Old age ain’t for sissies. So said Bette Davis.
My website is aimed at people who want to either get fit, or retain their fitness. You’ve got to be tough to have a fit, independent older age.
I was relatively fit and in my late 50s. I wanted to maintain that fitness but didn’t really know how. All gym instructors and personal trainers seemed to be rather young (some even looked good in lycra). Lovely people but I didn’t really feel they could fully understand the needs of me as an older woman. Classes seemed to cater for those with a very low level of fitness or the young and incredibly fit. There was no inbetween. I am a baby boomer, after all, and am going to grow old disgracefully.
The solution?
I Became a personal trainer.
Now I’m up and running (sorry about the pun) and really want to help other people who feel the same as I did. I’m self employed and don’t work in, or for, a gym. I will come to your home or we can work outside. Wherever you feel comfortable.
I hope that this website will give you the information you are looking for regarding health and nutrition. Not all the pages are complete and it will be constantly evolving. If I’ve missed anything, or there is something you feel should be included, please let me know on the contact page.
I feel really passionate about this and if you are only slightly interested I would welcome the opportunity to explain more to you. This first meeting is absolutely free and there is no hard sell – promise. I just want to explain how it all works.
Anyway, please have a browse of the website and see what you think. I hope you are inspired enough to contact me.
